For some Indigenous history right here in Manitoba, check out Wahbung Our Tomorrows. Published on the MFNERC YouTube page, this footage from 1972 was restored from the original 16mm film. The film documents the centennial anniversary of Treaties 1 and 2 in 1871 and follows Grand Chief Dave Courchene Sr. and the Manitoba Indian Brotherhood throughout the events of the year, culminating in the presentation of Wahbung to the federal and provincial governments.youtu.be/nPj-Yu4O4gM#NationalIndigenousHistoryMonth #NIHM2022 See MoreSee Less
